Reminder--PK open houses at both sites, Wednesday April 23 5 pm. Walhalla families, please pre-register by emailing Mr. Amb at nicholas.amb@k12.nd.us Enrollment packets can be picked up at either school office or can be mailed out by request. Pembina families, these will be filled out the night of open house.

After reading an informational text about solar ovens, Ms. Alayssa's K group in Walhalla built some! Thank you Chris Jackson for the donation of pizza boxes! They had a lot of fun building their solar collectors!
A couple reminders about early childhood and related services from Mr. Amb
1. If you have not done so, please email Mr. Amb the name and DOB of the student in your family who will be attending at the Walhalla site next year. We are trying to prepare for the number of incoming students. Open house is April 23 at both sites, from 5:00-6:00 PM.
2. North Border, in cooperation with Lake Region Special Education, offers free early childhood screenings for any child between the ages of 3 and 5 who does not currently attend PK or K here at North Border. If you have any concerns at all about your child's development, please contact either Mr. Amb at the Walhalla site or Mrs. Gruenberg at the Pembina site. Child find early screening information pertains to the entire district.
REMINDER: Prom is this Saturday in Walhalla!

Walhalla Elementary says a HUGE thank you to Colleen Johnson and daughter Carleen. They hand crocheted all of these beautiful hats and scarves to have on hand in case someone has lost theirs. Thank you again, they are wonderful!
