Quick Reminders from Mr. Amb and the Elementary Office!
1. Christmas program Monday is at 6 PM. Please have your children here between 5:30-5:45. Door 2 (playground door) open and they will report to classrooms. PK parents, they will go back to your family when done singing.
2. Friday, December 19 is the last day before break. All K-6 will be attending the movie at the Walla Theatre with their class. No need to bring money, pop and popcorn are covered. Dismissal Friday is at 1 PM with buses loading at that time.
3. If you are NOT getting our alerts with inclement weather, it is very important to let Mr. Amb know. It might be something as simple as a transposed phone number digit in the student information system. I have not heard of anyone not getting the alert, but if that is the case email me at Nicholas.amb@k12.nd.us

POSTPONED...will try again Monday, December 15. โ๏ธ

Thereโs nothing better than leading into a snow day by first getting to celebrate the spirit of the season with the Walhalla sixth gradersโ PNC buddies!
Their December hangout included decorating sugar cone Christmas trees together, Christmas JINGO (always a must-do on the list), special music shared by special guests โBob and Crewโ (Bob, Don, and Evelyn), and even a friendly battle of Family Feud (Christmas edition)!
Thank you to Heather and Kelsey for making the PNC activity room our much-loved second classroom home!

School Closing! North Border School District has no school. We will have an E Learning Day. Check Google Classroom.

It's that time of year! Please check our website, Facebook and Instagram along with listening to the local weather channel and radio stations for any updates for school related weather announcements!

NB PEMBINA kids are (snow) angels!

Eagle Families: It is that time of year. We are being informed that influenza A is showing up in our community. This is specific to Walhalla, but one can safely guess that it is throughout Pembina county as well. Please encourage good hygiene with your kids. We will be doing the same here with handwashing reminders. Also, if in doubt--keep kids that are sick home.
I am thrilled that kids love school so much they don't want to miss! But we have to consider the impacts on other students, families, and our staff as well. We will work with attendance. Please remember to make contact with your school office if your child is ill. If taken for a professional appointment, a printed slip from the medical office will clear the absence from counting toward yearly totals.
Remember--over 100.4 students go home/stay home until fever free, without medication, for 24 hours. This practice is to stop the spread of germs and illness.
The same is true for GI symptoms/throwing up, diarrhea. Symptom free for 24 hours until they return.
Thank you for helping partner with us to keep everyone healthy as we sprint toward the holiday break!

Eagle Club in Pembina is back! Grades 3-6 are enjoying a little work with Legos or playing games with our NHS kids!
It was a lot of fun watching the kids learn how to play new games! And we are excited to see the Lego Christmas Creations that are made! Every Thursday our students will get the chance to learn something new or create something amazing!!
