This week's GOOD NEWS CALL OF THE WEEK at Walhalla Elementary--goes out to Tyson Dunnigan. Tyson was nominated for showing great leadership. He stopped and took time to help a much younger student who was having a hard time. He did not realize that an adult noticed this and was so impressed with his caring and concern. This is the EAGLE WAY!! Way to go, Tyson!! Proud of you!!

If you didn't receive a message let us know so we can update your information (email/cell phone).** 7th grade Field trip: Pembina County Soil Conservation District 2023 7th Grade Eco Ed Tour to be held on Thursday, September 7th at the Icelandic State Park. Our tour will begin at 9:30 AM, we request students arrive on site by 9:15 AM for an orientation period. The tour should be completed by 2:30 PM. Lunch is provided. The tour will consist of five sessions: Prairie Soils Woodlands ​ Wetlands​ Water Quality Permission slips will be sent home today with your child(ren) that must be returned tomorrow.

Pembina County Public Health will be conducting vision and hearing screenings at North Border-Walhalla school on Wednesday, September 6th. Vision screenings will be done for students in preschool, kindergarten, grade 1, grade 3, and grade 5. Hearing screenings will be done for preschool students. Referral forms for students who did not pass the screenings will be sent home with students. If you do not want your child to participate in the screenings, please contact the school. Thank you! Pembina County Public Health will be conducting vision and hearing screenings at North Border-Pembina school on Thursday, September 14th. Vision screenings will be done for students in preschool, kindergarten, grade 1, grade 3, and grade 5. Hearing screenings will be done for preschool students.
