North Border Schools in Pembina and Walhalla will be two hours late on Friday, March 13. Doors open at 10 am.

Today, March 12 - NB Pembina and Walhalla Schools will be closing at 1:30 due to poor weather conditions. Buses ARE running! If you are picking you child up, you may do so before 1:30 pm.

This reminder about arrival and dismissal procedures is for our Walhalla Eagle families.
Student arrival in the morning is at door 2 (playground doors). Door 2 opens at 8:00 AM.
Picking up early? Please come to door 1 and get buzzed in.

Regular end of day pickup? Please report to door 2. Staff will be at the door at 3:25 to assist. Parents are welcome to come on in and wait!

Today, our Walhalla 4th graders took learning beyond the classroom! They discovered how all the ingredients for pizza can be grown right here in our own state - it was a true farm-to-table experience! Students asked great questions about agriculture, sustainability, and how hard our farmers work to feed our communities. We're proud of their curiosity and excitement while learning where their food comes from!

The schedule for today's District 3 Boys Basketball games in Larimore. All games will honor a rolling schedule after the first game of the day at 3:00 PM. The remaining games will be starting 25 minutes after the previous game.

Loser Out Games:
Game 5 - 3:00 PM - #8 Griggs-Midkota vs. #4 Cavalier

Game 6 - #7 Hatton/Northwood vs #6 Larimore.

Semifinal Round:
Game 7 - #1 Midway/Minto vs #5 Drayton/Valley Edinburg

Game 8 - #2 Park River/Fordville-Lankin vs #3 North Border

NB Pembina wrapped up our kindness challenge with SPRINKLES FOR EVERYONE! 🩷

BBB Update! We have received confirmation that tomorrow’s basketball game has been rescheduled. We will now play the second game of the day in Larimore at approximately 2:30 PM. Cavalier-DVE will tip off at 1:00 PM, and our game will begin approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of that matchup. The team will depart from Walhalla and Pembina at 11:30 AM tomorrow morning.

The District Tournament boys basketball game tonight in Larimore has been postponed to tomorrow. They have not finalized times yet and we will update everyone as we find out. As far as we know, the NB-Larimore game as well as Cavalier vs. DVE are being postponed as well.

💙💛North Border- Pembina Parents/Guardians:💛💙 If your child is in 6th grade, 10th grade or a client of public health and due for immunizations, consent paperwork was mailed to your home yesterday. Our public health team will be at the school on March 10th to administer vaccines. Please complete and return the forms as soon as possible.
