Boys golf meet tomorrow in Walhalla has been moved to Wednesday May 8.
This week we celebrate our wonderful teachers. North Border has some of the best and our teachers are the backbone of our district. They work tirelessly to inspire and lead our youth into a successful and promising future.
This week I want to give special thanks to two of our teachers who will be retiring after a combined 75 years of teaching between the two of them. Ms. Sculley and Mrs. Lindegard are going to be deeply missed. Their leadership, passion, knowledge, and dedication to the profession has helped mold so many people over their years of service. We have big shoes to fill with their absence next year, but we wish them the best and all of our wonderful teachers as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank You!

Mrs. Nola Lindegard and Ms. Vic Sculley have made a lasting impact on the North Border communities with their dedication and commitment over the past 35-40 years! Their retirement marks a significant milestone, and is a perfect opportunity to reflect on all the lives they have positively influenced throughout their careers. Please share how Mrs. Lindegard and/or Ms. Sculley have impacted you or your child(ren) either in the comments or through sending a personal message. We will compile the stories and well-wishes to provide with wonderful (or funny) stories throughout their combined years! 💙💛🦅
Teachers deserve our thanks all the time for everything they do to help students learn and do well. But this week is extra special because we're celebrating and saying thank you to our teachers for working hard and caring so much about education. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Couple reminders for next week:
The elementary is having their VIP breakfast on Friday, May 10 at 8am. Please make sure you have RSVP to the office.
The drama club will be performing their play also on Fri. May 10 with a matinee at 12:45p and evening performance at 7pm at the Walla theater.
There will be a community meeting to discuss long term planning and mill increases .
Dates are May 13 in Walhalla at 6pm
and May 15 in Pembina at 6pm.
Meetings will take place in the school cafeteria.
Sports updates:
The Grizzly Invite track meet scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to next Thursday-May 9th-details to be sent later.
There will not be any make up softball games tomorrow.
JV Baseball scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled.
Golf Meet in Northwood is still on as of now.
Today is Principal's Day. I want to give a big shout-out to the wonderful principals we have at North Border. Mr. Amb, Mrs. Gruenberg, Mr. Hope, and Mrs. Masloski. We couldn't ask for a better group of administrators. Thank you for your outstanding leadership and your dedication to our community. We are so grateful to have you all as part of our North Border Family.
