North Border Students Attend Scrubs Camp

The R-COOL-Health Scrubs Camp was a one-day camp designed to expose students to healthcare career options. The camps are a partnership between local healthcare facilities, an economic or job development authority, and a school. The overall purpose of the program is to increase awareness, interest, and understanding of health careers available in rural North Dakota through creative and interactive activities. This program was coordinated by the Center for Rural Health and the Pembina County Memorial Hospital.  Freshman and sophomores from Pembina and Walhalla participated in this awesome opportunity.  We thank the members of the Pembina County Memorial Hospital for inviting our students and sharing their knowledge.
