Common symptoms include a fever of 100°F or higher, headache, and a persistent cough. If your child has a fever of 100°F or higher, they must stay home. If they develop a fever at school, you will be called to pick them up. Students must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning to school. Please review the guidance from Pembina County Public Health. If your child sees a doctor, ask for a provider’s note so we can accurately track attendance. While we value strong attendance, keeping illness from circulating is our top priority. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping North Border Schools healthy!
