Tonight is **Jersey Night** at our home football game! Our players will dedicate their jerseys to someone they look up to as a role model. Each player's dedication will be displayed on papers posted on the shed by the shop. Come out, support our team, and check out who has inspired our athletes both on and off the field!

Hey everyone! It’s time to come together and show our hometown spirit for the Community Homecoming Parade Friday 9/20/2024! The parade will feature a fire truck escort out of town. Student fan bus and community cars escorting our football team from Walhalla to Pembina as they head to the big game! Date: 9/20/2024 Parade Route: From Walhalla to Pembina Starting Location: Walhalla School Parade lineup Time: 2:45 PM The community parade will join the school parade in Pembina at MCI when we pull into town Decorate your vehicles and show off that EaglePride Let’s rally behind our team and show them how much support they have from the entire community! 💙💛

The season of school screenings Walhalla Elementary Families, we are busy with school screenings right now. These are what are called universal screeners designed to catch potential large problems that could interfere with learning, and catch them early. They are universal in that they are intended for all. It is certainly your prerogative to pass on these and opt out. Just let me know! Today was vision from Pembina County public health. They screened children in grades PK, K, 1, 3, and 5. The next screening will be held on September 19, when our speech/language provider Sharon Heidler will be screening hearing for grades PK-3. A letter will be sent in the case of results that may be of concern. Today public health sent home notes to families of students that may have some vision concerns. If you didn’t get a letter, no news is good news!

Today, junior high students in Mrs. Engelstad's class learned the importance of creating strong passwords! 💻🔐 They explored what makes a password strong, what to avoid, and even discovered how long it could take a hacker to crack their password. After testing their own passwords with an online tool, many were surprised to find out they needed to make changes! A great learning experience in staying safe online! #CyberSecurity #StrongPasswords #DigitalSafety
