Miriam Carignan, daughter of Bonnie and Randy Carignan of Walhalla, ND, has been recognized as a distinguished student through the North Dakota High School Activities Association. Although Miriam was not selected as one of the six finalists, this process in no way minimizes the contributions that have been made to the North Border Walhalla school and community.
Miriam has always been a strong leader in her class and within the high school groups and activities. She is actively involved in her church and is constantly volunteering within the community as a member of the Jr. Bank Board with Choice Bank who believes in putting People First. Interscholastic activities have helped Miriam grow into a strong role model throughout the school and district.
North Border School District is proud to have a student like Miriam to represent the school.
