- The Neche Elementary School was presented with the "Gold With Distinction" award from the US Healthier Schools program for their efforts in health and nutrition on Thursday, January 26th. Two representatives from Bismarck were on hand to present the honor, and both KVLY and WDAZ were on here to cover the story, so it was, indeed, a very exciting day for everyone here in the Neche building. Only 15 North Dakota schools currently hold this honor, so this is something to be very proud of. Congratulations to all in Neche!
- Congratulations to Lauren Carrier in Kindergarten and Serena Symington in 5th grade for making perfect attendance for the 3rd nine-week period. To avoid all the illness that was going on over the past couple months made earning perfect attendance very difficult, so again, congrats to both these gals!
- The elementary spring concert will be Thursday, May 10th at 7:30.
- Kindergarten graduation is on Friday, May 18th at 2:00.
OUR FAMILY LABELS FOR LEARNING
The North Border School is participating in the OUR FAMILY labels for learning program. We have already received $200 over the last year from labels collected. Please help us earn more money for our school by saving OUR FAMILY products labels. There are deposit containers at D&K Grocery, the Pembina School, and the Neche School. We would like to thank Martha Olson for organizing this program and sending in the labels.
